a trip to "Bud's"

There's a sort of mini-farmer's market up here called Bud's corner market. This place is funny becuase it's been in business since ... I don't know how long, but since I've been in high school 10 years ago at least. (That's longer than Wal-Mart in this area.) And it has been in 5 different places over about 15 miles of Gardendale and Fultondale since I've been aware of it.

So today we went to Bud's to pick up some fall pumpkins and we also got some boiled peanuts. They are ... mmm! I like boiled peanuts a lot. Sarah actually enjoyed them some too. My fingers still taste salty. Also we got some cool pumpkins.

They had this fruit there called a "pluot." Have you ever heard of them? Supposedly they're a hybrid of plums and apricots. They looked very taste-able, but we didn't get them because after the pumpkins and the biled p-nuts it would've busted the budget. (I might go back after I get my allowance next week tho.)
